Arms of Thomas Howard

1st Earl of Surrey, 2nd Duke of Norfolk (1443-1524)

Blazon: Gules on a bend between six cross crosslets fitchy argent (Howard), an escutcheon or, within a tresseure flory counter-flory a demi-lion rampant pierced in the mouth with an arrow of the first (awarded to Howard in 1514 for his success at the battle of Flodden Field)
